About us and our Service
The Surrey Ark is an experienced, professional fully qualified and highly recommended pet care, puppy sitting, house sitting and dog walking company. We are a family business run by Mum and daughter with a team of 10 loving and experienced wonderful humans.
This is not a fill in job for us, this is our profession!
We operate in the Claygate, Esher, Chessington, Thames Ditton and Hinchley Wood areas and those nearby. We have 10 years' experience and fantastic references (see our reviews). We can post photos of your pets up for you on our Facebook page, if you would like us to, so that you can see how well looked after they are with us, whilst you are away.

Our Credentials
Leah graduated from Merrist Wood College (Guildford College) with qualifications in BTEC Animal Management Level 3
Sue is our fully qualified Level 5 Dog Behaviourist see more about her on our Behaviourist Help Page and Leah is also trained in Dog Behavioural Psychology.
4 of us are Canine First Aid trained.
We have our own transport, great references and are fully insured. We are able to keep a watchful eye on your beloved pet and are uniquely trained in their care. All of our team have great references, are dog/cat owners and LOVE working with your pets, we genuinely love this and chose it as our career.

Our Vision
We aim to provide love and care for your pets, whether they are furry, scaled or feathered. We will walk your dog alone (other than your second dog from the same household), or with one or two other suitably matched dogs, so that we build up a relationship with them and are fully in control. We have many regular customers who's dogs we know extremely well and have some owners who have become friends.
We offer dog sitting as we know our dogs so well and many regular customers book us up to a year in advance so get in touch soon if you are interested in this service.
We have many regular cat clients who we have been feeding, loving and caring for for 8 years in some cases. .
We are small, highly recommended and with us it's personal.
Your Pets
We would be happy to feed and clean your ferret, goat, hamster, gecko, cat or chickens, for example. We have been trained to handle them correctly, having learned about appropriate feeding routines and we will be watchful for any signs of ill health. This highly qualified level of care all goes towards ensuring that you have a relaxed holiday/day out, not worrying about your beloved pets, as they will be in very capable, caring and dependable hands.
